Millet Recipe






Here is a simple and healthy millet breakfast recipe that you can try:

 
Ingredients: 

1.  1 cup millet 
2.  2 cups water 
3.  1 cup almond milk (or any other milk of your choice)
4.  1 tbsp honey
5.  1/4 tsp cinnamon powder 
6.  1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts) 
7.  1/4 cup dried fruits (raisins, dates, cranberries) 


Instructions: (Preparing process)

1. Rinse the millet and drain the water.

2. In a pot, add the millet and 2 cups of water.  Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for        20-25 minutes until the millet is soft and fully cooked. 

3. In a separate pan, add the almond milk, honey, and cinnamon powder. Heat over low heat and stir          until the honey is dissolved. 

4.Once the millet is cooked, add the milk mixture to the pot and stir well. Add more milk if needed to       reach your desired consistency. 

5.Serve the millet in bowls and top with chopped nuts and dried fruits.
